Description: Finland is the 2nd most dangerous country for women in Europe when it comes to experiencing violence, according to a study conducted by the EU. Almost 50% of all women over 15 years of age have gone through physical abuse in Finland.
Nollalinja, a Finnish nationwide free-of-charge helpline, for anyone who has experienced violence or a threat of violence in a close relationship, decided to put a neck brace on the Havis Amanda statue so that it could be a reminder of domestic harassment.
